Assuming Gilmour doesn’t just get dropped.
Option 1) keep to 433 and push Gilmour forward, dropping PLM.
Option 2) go back to 4231 and play them both. However, this means dropping Kenny and also going back to a playmaker and DM. This didn’t work in the prem last time and Farke abandoned it last season to make us harder to beat with his ‘double pivot’. You could play Normann and Kenny as the pivot but you then have to push Gilmour into the 10 position (or drop him) and there is already plenty of competition up front.
Option 3) He could go three at the back and then drop Kenny and PLM
Other suggestions?
