Same risk tbh

We looked to replace a whole frontline unit in one go.

Always a danger.

Differences being that Pukki still looks a danger (Holt was well in decline), we've only really lost Emi from that attacking unit (Cantwell, Dowell, McLean still around and improving/improvable).

Feels like we're strengthening rather than replacing this time.

But the Emi thing is more risky.

Interesting to see if we've changed too much this time (when last time we changed too little). Hopefully not and the competitiveness of the squad will allow players to cycle in as needed for form, injuries, tactics.

I'd hope we'll improve as the season progresses in contrast to last time out.

No guarantees tho, which is what makes things interesting.
