Seems to ping a wide variety of players over the course of years and then up it a notch when the timing looks right.

Would expect him to do the same wherever he goes next (and us to be In for the same type of players)

In hindsight I wonder if last time we went up genuinely did come too soon, not only for the finances, but also the planning. It's been suggested that some of these guys were our plans B and C - in which case our contingency planning looks better this time round too.
