Yeah, it depends on whether it's something Farke wants to use behind a specific thing

Or whether it's based on availability of 3 specific centre backs.

Can't escape the feeling that he intended it to be Hanley Gibson Ajer. Kabak seems to be right footed but clips I've seen have him on the left of the back line and we know Farke likes inversions.

So the Q would be if say one of Hanley Gibson and Kabak are unavailable does he revert to a 2 or persist. I think he reverts. He could have gone 3 at the back vs Leicester and didn't.
