Sounds a better fit as a Skipp replacement

Than Billings and a better investment (in terms of gaps in the squad) than Ajer.

I wonder if we really did think Skipp was a likely returnee and persued those two to complement a team with him in, only shifting when it became apparent that he was going to get a chance at Spurs.
