Altrincham deducted EIGHTEEN points

Yesturday, Altringham were fined 1k and deducted 18 points, which will effectivly relegate them from the Conference, for fielding a player who didn't have international clearance for 13 games this season.

Accrington brought the player over from Iceland, without gaining internation clearence for him, they didn't however play him in their first team, just the reserves, before letting him join Altrincham. Accrington didn't however let Altrincham know that the player didn't have international clearence, and so this overboard fine and deduction has been placed on Altrincham.

That decision is an absoloute joke, and if it's worth signing a worthy out petition, it's worth signing this one - User Posted Link
