Almost feel sorry for him as from memory some of his best performances came in the Premier League last time around. I felt sure he was going to tear up the Championship last season, but just didn't really happen.

Useful squad player though, especially in Championship, and doesn't cry when he's on the bench. If we do go down I'd be inclined to keep him although he'd be knocking on 30 then.

Now our chief scout is at Boro, I suspect we should brace ourselves for quite a few approaches from them then.
