My advice…

I’ve been managing that age group for about 4 years now. We’ve played 11’s, 7’s, 6 aside. No matter what you do, stick the best player in the middle of the park and give him a free role. At that level, there is always one kid who is streets above the rest. Work out who that is and hope the other team’s one isn’t quite as good…
