This is our sixth season in the modern-era PL (since 2010)

In those previous five seasons our record vs Liverpool and at Man City is:
P10 W1 D0 L9 F13 A38

Much of the angst is because these two matches happened to be first & second.

Meanwhile other slow starts include:
11/12 Taking just 2pts from first 4 games
12/13 Taking just 3pts from first 7 games
13/14 Losing 5 of first 8 games
15/16 Taking just 9pts from first 11 games
19/20 Taking just 7 pts from first 12 games (admittedly, better than what followed...)

It really is much too early to be throwing in the towel.
