For me it's because this was an area that really let us down two seasons ago

In fact of all the areas we were short, this was the main one for me.

If we could get Skipp in I'd be delighted, he was so good last season.

However, I think it's right to say we've probably signed Gilmour as a very good alternative, but perhaps one that is a little less defensively minded?
