My experience

We took Jester Jr to one of the half term holiday camps. It was daily for 5 days. It was about £50 for the week, I think.

I wasn't impressed. Everything was geared around goals. As a result, kids didn't pass. Noisy kids demanded the ball then never gave it back. Awards were all goals related too. No value in finding space, passing, etc. Just goals.

Coaches were not watching the entire time, i.e. they told the kids what to do then went and did something else for 10 minutes, including chatting. As such, they didn't intervene and improve the above sessions in any way. In addition, they started clearing up while the kids were still playing.

Didn't bother going back. PDC may be different but I wouldn't bother with the holiday stuff again. Junior learns more going to Eaton park with his mates.
