Baffling

The school I moved to was big into (and good at teaching) cricket (one of the English teachers worked part time and captained Worcestershire the other half of the year).

Solid defensive technique was the bare minimum, even for no hopers like me.

At lower levels there's plenty of bad balls to pick off from the bowling. Stokes technique, but also his instinct, is finely honed. Not sure how you can start from the end point... Who knows... Am clearly getting old and curmudgeonly.
