They are clearly preparing the ground for not signing another CB
It’s why Webber feeds this stuff to Archant, bit like the Tories leaking the content of covid related announcements in the days leading up to them.
I’m sure if an amazing deal becomes available they are still open to it but I think this article is Webber telling us we are prioritising other positions now.
