“He won’t go all attacky”

In this tournament very likely especially since our next opponent, like just about everybody we’ve played so far, likes to sit deep and attack on the counter.

But ever? We were quite attacky in the 2018 World Cup and the nations league thereafter I seem to remember.

I think our Gareth has picked a versatile squad who can cover a wide range of tactics and unfortunately for the viewer the ones suited to this tournament’s opponents have been quite cautious. Fortunately for the England fan, so far they’ve been the right ones to go six games without a loss, conceding only once.

Fingers crossed for the final. Don’t care how we get it done. And if we don’t we just met an opponent who were better on the day.
