for what its worth, I think Delia didn't like the fact that the fans a players dictated the end of the last manager
Like they said at the time, a lot was learnt. That was interpreted by most the way they wanted to
I think this time they are exercising the fact that they are in charge not the fans, or the players, and they'll decided who goes and who comes in
Just my guess on the situation, but I think this a reaction of 5 years ago when they didn't want Hamilton to go, but were forced into it against their will
Whether that turned out to be the right decision or wrong, that probably wasn't a nice thing to have to do
I think the ultra faith in worthington is a reaction to that, hence the fact they won't allow him to feel under pressure
I feel they are wrong to do that just like a lot of others, but I can understand it
I'd rather this club went forward, but they'd rather protect a friend and make a point
