Are you suggesting that England don't have a plan?

I've seen all manner of criticisms thrown at Southgate so far - and some of them are not unreasonable - but 'not having a plan' definitely isn't something that appears justified.

And as for the Gerrard/Lampard issue, that remained unresolved for nearly a decade. Grealish and Foden have emerged as first XI contenders in the last 12 months.
