1966.............

I was only eight yrs old , but I remember the afternoon of the final, my mother went shopping !! at half time I ran down to the local shops to get some sweets (remember I'm only eight yrs old at the time) and the one thing that struck me and has stayed with me all the years is how quiet it was i can't remember seeing anybody else ,off course afterwards me and my mates all wanted to be Geoff Hurst
