You keep jumping from regional to national, and from cases to admissions to hospital beds occupied.
Yes, it's clear that cases have gone up a lot, and since schools have gone back.
Admissions (and therefore beds occupied) have risen - by they're still much, much lower than where things were before mass vaccination. The number of people in hospital is around 4% - one twenty-fifth - of where it was in January.
I'm not saying things are solved, or that they won't get worse from here. But you do need to keep perspective, and recognise that things are much - much - better than they were. And as long as vaccinations keep working, that's going to remain the case.
