If we draw with the Czechs and finish second, then France winning would mean they'd play us in the QFs, no (admittedly not at Wembley)?

Whereas if they came second in that scenario, they'd play the Czechs, and then the winner of the Spain group or a third place team in the QFs.

So if we do finish second - maybe they'd rather finish 2nd too? (Or are you just not considering that possibility...)
