Serie A has, I think, had as many or more goals per game compared with the other major leagues for years now. And they have produced teams like Atalanta, who are basically all out attack (and have been really successful there).

And yet we still have this idea stuck in our heads that Italian football is cynical and defensive. And so are repeatedly surprised every time we see it.

Anyway. I'd like to see this Italian team win it, assuming we won't. But suspect that they're not actually the best team in it (just one of the best to watch).
