Would be nice to see a bit of leadership from someone at the club in the next few days

So far in recent weeks we’ve lost our best player, lost our sponsor, lost one of our chief scouts and lost our COO. We’ve not signed anyone and we’ve not launched the bee kit (presumably due to the sponsorship issue).

It does have the feeling of things unravelling a bit. I’m sure that’s perhaps not the case snd that behind the scenes someone has a grip of things but it would be reassuring to see some overt signs of that.

Interesting to see the line in the Kensell stories about his plans for the ground and how he had come to accept he wouldn’t be able to do them. Seems it’s not only on the pitch that “self funding” makes life a struggle at premier league level. Ultimately both of his perceived “errors” come back to that desperation to max out revenues from. Commercial.
