The players in the pic when he’s stretchered off all looked pretty forlorn but I suppose they were in a lot of shock and wouldn’t have known how the situation looked for those watching on

Wasn’t expecting smiles obviously but that was a pretty amazing outcome after how he’d just collapsed like that. Can understand why they said they weren’t really in a fit state to play football afterwards even tho they agreed because the alternative was noon the next day.
