FA and Southgate (on behalf of players) have both explained it in the plainest terms. It is a message of anti discrimination from the players. Nothing political. If you are booing it, you are against anti discrimination. Some will still boo presumably because that's what they are. On the positive side, I'm sure that the vast majority who are decent human beings will make every effort to drown it out.
