His skills seem to suit the way we play

Plus he seems to tick the box that Webber was quoted talking about of looking for a winger who could be used up top (likes a shot).

Flip side - he'd likely take a while to settle.

Am hoping that the new guys we bring in will get the benefit of the doubt. I remember seeing Emi here in Cardiff in the cup 2018, in (one of? ) his first appearances for the club.

He looked great, but raw, and threw himself to the ground at regular intervals looking for free kicks that never came. He acclimatised pretty quickly, but is leaving us a much, much player than he joined.

So, in the same way that Dowell's early appearances looked promising, but it took him a while (injuries, form) to start to show what he could do, I hope we're a bit patient - not all will work out and it does take a while for people to get 'in tune' with how we play.

Which is why if we can get Skipp back in some form it'd be brilliant
