Agreed and I think the majority would take players playing with pride and example

Give me Southgate over Allardyce or Venables any day of the week.
He reminds of us how we felt when it was the sense of pride and the be seen to to battle hard and in the right spirit...win or lose which was important to us a younger fans.
We can all take disappointment, but to see players half-heartedly abusing the honour of representing our nation is impossible to swallow.
