Haha! Indeed. It's funny really....

because thinking back I had unwavering belief that England could win tournaments that really they had little / no hope of winning. Such as the WCs in 1998, 2002 and 2006.

I'd say we've got a better, or as good, squad as we had back then.

I went to England v Sweden in Cologne in 2006, what a great experience that was. Incredible atmosphere in and around the city, good game and an absolute wonder goal from Joe Cole. Great memories!
