Even if not, I think it's very likely there was some kind of 'Gentleman's Agreement' made last season when he came back into the fold. If so, there's no way we shouldn't honour that - he'd rightly be pissed off and it would rubbish our reputation which could hurt us with future signings.

I loved watching Emi playing for us - more than any other player I think, so I'm gutted. But he's got us a s**tload of money in with the fee and also helping us last season to get promoted.

Those that think the fee is low....just maybe he's not as good as we think. World class in Championship terms, but let's see how he gets on next season. I'm sure if he cuts up the Prem he'll be off again in a couple of years and I think Webber will have been shrewd enough to have a sell on clause in this deal.

Now we wait and see who comes in - the club will have known long ago this was coming and they'll already have had replacements lined up. You never know, they just may be better.
