My suspicions about the money in for Buendia

Based on nothing particular...

Reported at £30m plus, totalling £35 as a package. A bit disappointing.

I wonder if we've negotiated a deal that very few clubs other than Villa with their money could pay (and certainly not Arsenal), whereby it's pretty much the full £30m right now, upfront, as opposed to installments.

That in itself would take out the problem we always have when we get promoted which is that we pay out bonuses but we're actually no richer until the first (small) installments of TV money in late August. Fucks up our window every time and might mean the value of the deal to us is more
