4th World Cup
3rd Nations League

In major tournaments, McLaren, Capello and Hodgson between them failed to qualify on one occasion, finished behind the USA in the piss-easiest group of all time and got knocked out by Iceland and (to all intents and purposes) Costa Rica.

We had stunk out every tournament from 2006 onwards - but now appear to have a far better approach and club England mentality.

He's been the best manager we've had since Sven, no question and that shouldn't be underestimated.
