All a bit unconvincing isn’t it.
You just know that as soon as we come up against a side with a decent midfield we are going to find it tough.
Perhaps it will all click and we will see Foden, Grealish and maybe even Mount playing behind Kane and running rings around the opposition but I look at our central midfield area (Bellingham did nothing last night yet seems to be the latest parachuted in there with no real genuine claim) and just don’t see the composure or class in there to dominate games. Perhaps if he goes to a 4-2-3-1 and plays Philips and Rice behind an attacking front 4?
