What a mess

Only thing to ruin otherwise highly pleasant weekend was the abysmalness that is NCFC.

Yesterday was beyond a joke. There is no way Worthy should be there for next season. 1st half was so mind numbingly dull I almost chewed off my own foot. Then on stroke of half time QPR score resulting in immense booage and chanting for worthy out/ what a load of rubbish etc.

2nd half - Worthless takes off our youngster (playing out of position at RB who was actually playing well) and drops Andy Hughes to RB where he proceeded to be every bit as appalling as he is everywhere else. We continue to be absolutely drop for next 10 minutes. Then Hughes for the 18th time in the match passes straight to their left winger Cook - who runs up the pitch and scored. Cue mayhem. Several thousand fans actually stand up and start sarcastically apllauding the goal/slating Andy Hughes. His every (usually awful) touch for the next 15 mins is booed and jeered until he is eventually put out of his misery and substituted - -to the loadest cheers of the afternoon. It is shocking that it has come to this - booing and mocking our own player. The fact is though that he is absolutely awful and relatively expensive - and sums up all the mistakes Worthy has made over last 2 years.

With 12 minutes left we score an appalling goal as their keeper completely f*****d up a floaty cross which went in off Huckerby's shoulder. Our keeper then made 3 world class saves to prevent us falling 3-1 down. SOMEHOW QPR then just completely allow the end of the match allowing us to somehow score two more scrappy goals to actually win the match. Unbelievable. What a joke. That result could actually be a disaster for this club - if we'd lost that game 2-0 in that atmosphere I honestly believe that was the end for Worthy - instead we are gifted a totally misleading win that papers over cracks the size of grand canyon - YET again.

We are a total mess. The board have to change things. If Worthington is in charge then the board are setting things up for a massive blow up next year. The first sign of a blip in form and things are gonna kick off big time - and probably start to be aimed at them too. The atmosphere is unbearable at the mo - and worthy's relationship with the fans is beyond repair. He is now forever only one bad performance away from demonstrations.

You can't go into the new season with that atmosphere - we need a change so that everyone can pull together again. He's had a whole extra year now - and failed completely. Thanks for the good things you did Worthy - please go now whilst you still have a shred of dignity
