I would hate Emi to go to Villa

Barely an improvement on us, although I’m sure they’d pay much more.

On the other hand if he did really well we’d have a good chance of a tidy sell on fee. If he goes to Athletico then he’s presumably there forever if he does well or goes somewhere for less money 💴 f he doesn’t do well.
