"there is tension between Archant and NCFC"?

Why on earth is there tension there, given Archant's fawning subservience to the club all season?

They've spsent most of the season pretending there aren't any problems at the club, and droning on about how we might sstill make the play-offs. Surely the board / NW can't expect them to be any more on-message then they have been?
