Its not really to do with our model is it? He's not leaving beacuse of wages etc. He is leaving because it is natural progression to want to play for a bigger club and maybe win stuff. Webber has been very clear that we don't need to sell anyone, and we will only do so at a price that is right for us.

Also, the model is actually what helped us bounce back. Because we have modest wages and saleable assets we only needed to sell 1 player to balance the books, hanging onto the others which was very helpful. Compare to Bournemouth who had to sell / release several and are now still in the Championship despite having an oligarch who can splash some cash.
