On a similarly bin lorry hydraulics themed story. I was walking up Guildhall hill about

7 years ago when all of a sudden one of the hydraulic pipes on the bin lorry over on the market side of the road, popped off and spayed a load of oil all over the ice cream stall and a few people.
It does sound like a set up for a poor joke but this was true
