By the way, my learning has come courtesy of the Billy Bragg book Roots, Radicals and Rockers: How Skiffle Changed the World - definitely recommended if you might be interested in that sort of thing. It's packed with stuff such as Tony Sherridan off of Beatles in Hamburg fame came from Norwich. Did everyone know this? It had completely past me by!
