it's because we don't believe that will happen.
The recent home performances will three times out of four not get you a win. Just because we have got lucky in those games doesn't mean we will next season. Of course, I'm sure we'd have been happy with Hamilton if he'd stayed and won all his games - but the fact it is wasn't at all likely to happen so we were glad to be rid of him. And the same is true with Worthy.
On your argument no team would EVER change manager, because you'd ALWAYS be happy with whoever you had if they won all their games.
You make your decision on how likely you think success is, not how happy you'd be if it were to happen !
