He makes more happen because of his ability to stay on his feet and ride tackles, whereas Madders goes down if you so much as breathe on him. We'd win a lot more freekicks with Madders but like corners we're generally pretty rubbish at those, and even good freekick takers like Madders hardly score any of them a season (rarely more than 2 or 3).
