Yes. We actually bought pretty much all of our best players when we didn't have parachute

payments or alternatively developed them ourselves.

They may have helped us retain them this season but they are not the reason we have them or the reason w got promoted the first time.

It does annoy me that people talk about parachute paymentsa like we've just been given them for no reason. We did earn them by getting promoted.
