whilst this has helped Norwich its clear that most of the EFL clubs are running on

borrowed money, If there was not such a gulf between the two divisions then teams wouldn't gamble so much. So its either distribute the PL money more across all the divisions (never going to happen) or tighten up on the financial rules around EFL clubs spending stupid amounts on players.
If there was no parachute money then players would not join newly promoted clubs for a season of getting thrashed in the Prem. Whilst the current situation is not great its probably as good as we can get.
