lawnmower stoppage drills:

lawnmower mowing ok lawnmower stops
try to restart lawnmower with pull cord, lawnmower refuses to start
check fuel levels, fuel levels ok
keep ripping the pull cord until as weak as a kitten
utter first sweary at lawnmower
neighbour coughs
go to shed to find plug spanner
find every single other tool first
undo sparkplug and check plug not sure what i am checking it for but give it a little brush over with sandpaper
replace sparkplug
retry pull start until weak as a kitten
realisation hits that you did not replace ht lead
replace ht lead and go indoors and swear at the cat
check fuel again even though you know it has fuel
take off cover and try poking the carburettor, give it a few good clangs with screwdriver handle
retry starting procedure - nada
remove air filter and give it a couple of light taps, replace and retry starting procedure
lawnmover starts on first go
you f**king trolling piece of s**t lawnmower
it's taken so long that the bit i cut has regrown
