we used to holiday regularly at the us forces recreation centre in garmisch

lovely log cabins with all mod cons, loads of activities to do but unlike centre parcs it was cheap as s**t for serving military including ski passes and kit hire. had some great summer hols there as well, beautiful part of the world. all shut now by the looks of it just the hotel left open.
