Clearly there is huge gap in quality between the divisions but....

look at the teams who were former "established" PL teams who came down and never recovered.

Look at the big clubs like Derby and Sheff Wed who are struggling to avoid LG 1.

Stoke seem to have gone backwards every year and are not close to the playoffs.
