It's not a question of quantity ...

You say Dickson played well because he put in SOME good balls. I didn't count them. My impression, sat in the ground, was that he did make SOME good, he also made SOME good tackles and SOME good runs, but not enough to say he played well. He was frequently dispossed and lost out in challenges he should have won, I also don't feel he made himself available enough from deep. He did seem to put in more effort than he has in the past.

My original point was that The Manager saw his performance as a major plus, which I don't think it was. But NW was probably referring to his work rate.

But then I am just a f**king idiot who needs his eyes testing arn't I.
