It took SO LONG to dial all those numbers! It took AGES for the zero to get back to the

start - so unfair to have to do an extra 01 if you were outside London. Plus the phone was in the hall which meant missing the programme. I would usually wait until the cartoon came on. Never got through though. Sigh!

You should give them a nod whether people are around or not. I manage a subtle salute which could just look like I'm just scratching the side of my head when people are around.
