But is not just about 2 weeks in the Spanish sun

In my case, I live in the US and have not seen my 86yo Dad (or my sister and her family) since Christmas 2019.

We are all now fully vaccinated and I am on standby for when the UK government allows flights between the US and UK without needing to quarantine for 2 weeks at either end (not possible for me due to job committments).

If I can't travel after being vaccinated, when will I be able to visit my family?

We have to get back to some level of normalcy or is no international travel to be the new normal?
