it just seems crazy way to go about developing the game to me

obvs we are blessed with webber and the owners buy-in but we've sailed close to the wind as well and i would have thought, with regard to covid focussing the mind on the future of football, just shovelling bucketloads of cash at recently relegated basket case clubs is utter disgusting nonsense. webber says "look after the roots and the rest of it will look after itself". unless he didn't then i've just made that up.
