My own reading of the situation is that mismanagement of the club isn’t the problem, the problem is the club itself.
The older fans expect a return to the halcyon days of the late 70’s and the younger ones actually believe they won the Champions League. They don’t own their ground and they are essentially completely without assets in a business where players are valued financially as assets.
They need to cut their cloth to what they have and base expectations around their 13,000 attendances.
They will never rival us again.
