The legacy fans need to face up to the situation

that their clubs are gone. They are being turned into franchises. And in the long run, a franchise based in New York, Abu Dhabi or Shanghai is going to be more profitable than one based in Liverpool or Manchester. So that is where they will end up being based.

The legacy fans should be setting up new clubs asap. Credit to the Man Utd fans who set all this in motion 15 years ago - it gives them a nice headstart over the rest.
