Story of the season

We’ve not scored anywhere near as many as we should have done and have periods where we struggle against direct, hoof-loving sides. I don’t think we handled their late assault that well and as you say Krul was lucky not to get sent off, but if they’d got anything from the game it would have been a travesty.

Not our sexy best but good enough. We’ll need to be far better v Brentford but the good news is they play proper football, which we tend to do better against. The free scoring Ivan Toney is a worry though - Hanley and Gibson will have to be at their best
